RE: Stabilitrak Problem

You are too high on the shank. Lower it by one hole. Put the 7 washers in and re-adjust the L bracket. 2 1/2 holes from the top. Last, don't forget to tighten the single screw located at bottom of the hitch head while it is hitched.

RE: Stabilitrak Problem

We have an 08 Tahoe LTZ and I use 7 washers, and on the L brackets counting from the top there are 2.5 holes showing. According to the owners manual for the Tahoe, all measurments should be taken with the engine off. So the compressor is off. Our tonque weight is 900 lbs loaded. Komfort 232TS, weighs about 6800lbs. You might need to lower the hitch head on the shank so that the front end of the trailer is higher after the compressor turns on. Good luck. You need to transfer more weight to the front and off the rear axle.

RE: New Info From Josh about Equal-i-zer Hitch Bolts (long)

The next time I go out to the storage place I'll look to see if they are bent. The last time I remember seeing them, they looked fine but, I will pay closer attention this time. Thanks for the quick feed back.

Now what about the bolts that hold the L brackets. The one on the left moves around no matter how tight the bolt is. What can be done to tighten the L bracket?

2008 Chevy Tahoe question

We brought our Tahoe home yesterday and am in the process of installing the wiring for the trailer. The manual says to connect the red battery charge cable located near the fuse box under the hood. I found it but don't know where it should be connected? The manual also says to connect the blue brake controller wire located in the same area but, I can't find it? If someone with a 07 or 08 Tahoe to Yukon know where to connect these wires, please let me know? Thanks in advance.
